Our crowdfunding project started on December 22, 2023 and reached its goal of 3.4 million yen on March 28, 2024 with the support of many people. We would like to express our sincere appreciation for the support of many people.

Crowdfunding will begin in December 2023
For our friends who support us from abroad, we have created a detailed English explanation of how to support us through crowdfunding. We hope you will find it useful.
Preparations for crowdfunding have been underway since the spring 2023, and now that a concrete goal for fundraising has been set, the crowdfunding will finally begin in December 2023, in time for the second performance!
Below is a preview of the crowdfunding image clip. Please take a look.
The full interview with Hiroshi Misawa, Chief Conductor of the New National Theatre Chorus, featured in the clip, will be available on the Motion Gallery page when crowdfunding begins. Crowdfunding is expected to begin around December 20, 2023.
Started with a motion gallery that resonates with Joseph Beuys’ social vision!
The platform used is Motion Gallery. It is a well-established crowdfunding platform founded to realize the “social sculpture” advocated by contemporary artist Joseph Beuys.
Joseph Beuys is a man who deeply identifies with Rudolf Steiner’s views on art and society, and who combines art with social action. No other platform could be more compatible with the project.
Initial goal of 2.5 million yen, mainly orchestra-related
The initial target of 2.5 million yen(as $16,700US) was set for the use of the funds to cover the rapidly growing expenses of the orchestra (including the conductor) for the third and Aichi performances.
This may seem like a large amount of money, but considering our dreamlike good fortune to have Mr. Hiroshi Misawa, the New National Theatre Tokyo’s resident conductor, and to have all of the semi-professional musicians who are in tune with Mr. Misawa, assemble an orchestra for this project, we believe that this amount of money will definitely be raised. I am sure that we will be able to raise this amount of money. (I’ve heard that most successful crowdfunding projects end up exceeding their goals and then carry over to raise an even larger amount of money. Presto…)
Crowdfunding is not just about raising money!
That said, the real purpose of this crowdfunding campaign is not to raise money (although of course we would love to raise funds!!!).
Through this crowdfunding we hope to create value by
- We want to prove that the art of eurythmy is and can be supported by society!
- We want to enliven the sense of unity with those who support us!
- We will cherish the sense of unity with the Aichi and Fukuoka performances!
- We aim to realize it with our friends in Europe, the birthplace of eurythmy, our American friends, the legends of the North American tour, and our friends from all over the world!
- We want you to meet new people that you may not have met before and have them be tinted in Eurythmy colors!
- Above all, I want to dream about the future of eurythmy culture!
It is said that crowdfunding is a platform where these things can happen. You can understand why Motion Gallery claims to be a “social sculpture,” can’t you?
